Photography began as a high school interest for j.e.s.s. and
quickly developed into a serious hobby during her college
years at San Diego State University.
When she studied abroad in Singapore in 2006, she took this
as her opportunity to make something of her photo skills. All
the beautiful countries and diverse cultures in close proximity
gave her a lot to work with.
While she mainly focuses on photographing candid emotion,
she also takes specialty in capturing unique architecture and
big city scenes.
In addition to her photography business, j.e.s.s. is an editor at
San Diego State's student newspaper, the Daily Aztec. She
hopes to be able to combine her photo skills and journalism
training when she graduates from SDSU in May 2008.
